Welcome to A Village Learning Center’s Kindergarten Public School Alternative!
Our program is run by a licensed teacher, ensuring that your child receives the highest quality education from a qualified professional. With a small class size and daily one-on-one time with the teacher, we are able to give each child the individualized attention they need to succeed.
The Kindergarten program features a strong phonics-based reading curriculum, a math curriculum geared to build students’ number sense, and uses manipulatives to enhance learning. We are data-driven through assessments of the children’s knowledge on the content being taught, and we keep a binder on each of the students to track their progress. We also have a fall and spring conference with parents and provide report cards.
We offer a unique play-based learning experience, where children learn through exploration and discovery. This approach not only makes learning fun but also helps children develop important social and emotional skills that benefit them throughout their lives.
