Hi, I’m Nicole, and I’m the owner and educator behind A Village Learning Center.
I’m a wife and mother of 4. I’ve lived in the Toledo area most of my life. I attended Lourdes University. I taught preschool for several years along with Kindergarten for 3 years and 1st for one year. In addition, I subbed for TPS and Washington Local in grades K-5. I’m a licensed teacher in the state of Ohio and have been exclusively tutoring for a little over a year now.
I left my profession at the end of last school year upon deciding it just wasn’t serving me any longer. A parent of one of my preschoolers about 10 years ago turned friend of mine asked me to tutor her youngest son as he was struggling in school due to the lockdown. I loved it so much that I started advertising my services.
Since then I have grown into what I am today. I absolutely LOVE working for myself and the ability to work one-on-one with students giving them confidence and the skills needed to be successful in school. I’m currently in the process of renovating a property to have a physical location for tutoring services AND will have a small preschool there as well. Stay tuned for updates!
